Less than 1% of all basketball players make it to the NBA. However, there are other professional leagues to play in.
The NBDL (National Basketball Developmental league) is right under the NBA and the NBA only takes players from the NBDL or top euroleague players. Visit NBDL website at nbdl.com.
CBA - (Continental Basketball Association) is right under the NBDL visit cbahoopsonline.com.
Other fall leagues in the United States are the ABA and PBL. The Premier Basketball league go to pblproball.com. These are leagues to get your career started.
IBL - (International Basketball League) is the only spring league right now, go to iblhoopsonline.com.
My advise is to check out websites and look for agents at usbasket.com and look to see what fit's your lifestyle and your talent level. Find a good agent, at least interview 3 or 4 before making a decision. Some tremendous athletes play entertainment basketball and make a nice living.
